The Bourbon Room at The Venetian takes you back -- waaaay back to the '80s when big hair, leather jackets and neon colors reigned supreme.
Inspired by the club seen in the Broadway smash hit, “Rock of Ages,” the Bourbon Room is more than just a bar. Here, VJs (remember them?) crank tunes with the music videos playing on a large screen. You'll hear all your favorites from artists like Whitesnake, Poison, AC/DC, Billy Idol, Motley Crue and much more.
And unlike a club where you have to pay admission (and a lot more for a table), the Bourbon Room is free of cover charge and you can sit wherever (and whenever) you please. The sleek, all-black couches and tables add to the lounge's rock 'n roll edge.
Every night after 8 p.m., the black leather and lace-clad cocktail servers perform energetic dance routines on the stage while the VJs spin class rock hits. And beginning December 2012, guests will be able to see the cast of "Rock of Ages" perform here nightly at the end of each show. "Rock of Ages" will take over the space in the current Blue Man Group theater, located near the bar.
At The Bourbon Room, choose from 28 different kinds of bourbons including the Woodford Reserve, made specifically and exclusively for the Bourbon Room. For a real trip back in time, enjoy Bartles & Jaymes wine coolers.
During the day, sip on classic bourbon cocktails (the apple bourbontini is not to be missed) while watching sports on the video walls or playing slots at the bar.
