This trip is ideal for those who crave speed, excitement and a whole lot of dust. Dune buggies are quite popular, even among celebrities. In fact, these are the same dune buggies featured on the popular MTV show, "Rob & Big." The dune buggies travel through rugged terrain, sand dunes and gravel on 15,000 acres of play space.

One of the unique facts about these buggies is that they were all built from scratch in an actual  Las Vegas facility. Each of these three-quarter desert racers were specifically built for its driving destination.

Once you climb into your buggy, get ready for a fast-paced adventure. You'll travel across aggressive and challenging terrain as well as steep hills. As you follow your experienced tour guide, you'll witness the amazing beauty of the wild Southwest. And while most people drive these vehicles between 25 to 35 miles per hour, they are actually capable of going 50 miles an hour at top speed.

The  more confident riders feel on the dunes, the more challenging the trails they can experience. Advanced riders have an opportunity to see all the washes. But no matter the skill level, virtually anyone can drive a dune buggy. These off-road vehicles are similar to driving an automatic car.

Coasting through several different trails at top speed is definitely something you can brag about to your friends back home. But the only way to truly understand the drive is to experience it first-hand.

This tour includes round-trip shuttle transportation to and from your hotel.

Guests have the option of booking a one-seat, two-seat, four-seat, five-seat or six-seat buggy. The four-seat buggy accommodates two adults in the front seats and two kids (weight 100 pounds each) in the rear seats, due to the short leg room area. The five-seat is built specifically for adults and can comfortably seat four adults and one child in a buggy built with plenty of leg room in the back. Prices vary on vehicle size. 

Renters must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license. Drivers must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver's license and must be accompanied by an adult. No open toed shoes or sandals are allowed. Please check weather conditions and dress appropriately.
