Expedition

This adventurous tour combines a flight to the Grand Canyon with river rafting through the Colorado River's Black Canyon.

The tour begins with a helicopter flight over the rugged desert terrain, the crystal blue waters of Lake Mead, the mighty Hoover Dam from above and below and the spectacular Grand Canyon. After soaring through the majesty of the Grand Canyon, you land in historic Boulder City.

In Boulder City, you will be bused to join your rafting group at the base of Hoover Dam and continue with a Black Canyon rafting adventure. The 40-person raft will take you on an 11-mile trip down the Colorado River. Enjoy a box lunch during your rafting tour.

At the end of your rafting tour, you will land at Willow Beach. From there, you will return to your hotel by bus.

Tour includes transportation from your hotel in a limo.

Black Canyon Raft Portion: This is not a whitewater rafting trip. The raft portion of this tour includes a slow water trip on a pontoon style raft. These are large comfortable rafts which have been carefully constructed with your safety in mind. They have multiple air chambers and are outfitted with all of the Coast Guard required and recommended safety equipment. All the rafts have plenty of room for passengers, so you will not be overcrowded. During this excursion, the experienced and knowledgeable guides share the history of this magnificent geological area.

For each guest weighing more than 275 pounds, an adjacent empty seat is required to safely balance the aircraft. Tour company will charge a reduced rate for the adjacent seat at the time of check-in.
