Recently remodeled, the chic new Cantor Race & Sports Book at the Palms makes it easy for you to indulge in two forms of gambling at once -- sports wagering and poker. The 9,840-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is unique in that it offers eight tables for poker (one is a VIP/high-stakes table enclosed by glass walls and polished Macassar Ebony wood panels).
Everything about the Cantor Race & Sports Book at the Palms is stylish. Patrons will notice hand-stitched leather walls and elegant flooring made up of Michelangelo Marble tiles. There's a stunning 1,290-square-foot LED screen with surround sound and the highest pixel quality possible. It's capable of showing up to 33 independent sporting events and 12 independent horse races.
Bettors can sit at one of 93 high-tech wagering carrels. There are four VIP carrels and 17 regular carrels in the race section as well as 13 VIP carrels and 59 regular carrels in the sports section. However, all of them have been designed with the flexibility to take both race and sports bets.
One of the best things about the Cantor Race & Sports Book at the Palms is that it offers enhanced technology to customers. Guests can wager anywhere in the resort (even from their rooms) via Cantor Gaming's Android-compatible mobile sports wagering application, perfect for cell phones, laptops and tablets. Guests who don't have an Android device will gladly be provided with one during their visit.
The Cantor Race & Sports Book at the Palms is a nonsmoking facility. It's situated on the west side of the casino, just steps from the entrance. The hip new Tonic Bar, with specialty cocktails and 24 video gaming terminals, is located nearby, as is the food court. Plus, an auxiliary betting kiosk is conveniently situated at the other end of the casino, near the east parking garage and the high-limit lounge.
