The Sports Pit -- Harrah's Race and Sports Book Review
Sports book meets live gaming at Harrah's Sports Pit. Featuring blackjack, craps, video poker and keno, this sports book stands apart from the rest. And, don't forget the sports - watch your favorite games being broadcast on over 40 high-definition televisions, as well as two giant screens.
"It's not like a regular sports book," said sports book director Bill Sattler. "You can bet and play blackjack, craps and video poker, and there is even exciting nightlife after hours, when we feature music videos after the day's games."
With a modern design and rich burgundy and brown colors accenting the contemporary furniture, the sports book is a warm and inviting place to watch any sporting event. Seating for 45 is available in shimmering, plush lounge chairs, complete with back pillows. There is additional seating at the bar and at bar tables along the back wall.
A large full-service bar is a main part of the room and provides plenty of room to hang out with friends while watching your favorite game. And, if the munchies hit, the Pepper Rose Deli, adjacent to the Sports Pit, serves up delicious Texas-style BBQ and sandwiches.
