Gold Coast Race and Sports Book Review
With its strategically placed hot dog stand, it's likely you'll actually feel as if you are out at a ball game at the Gold Coast Race and Sports Book.
This midsize race and sports book in the center of the casino is bustling with action. But bettors need not be intimidated. The staff is quite personable and always willing to lend a helping hand to timid bettors and newcomers.
The book is split into two sides with seats for the race book facing forward toward two projector screens and 26 flat-screen televisions. Seats for the sports book face toward the side, and 12 flat-screen televisions. The books have separate counters for those who want to place bets.
The Gold Coast also offers the convenience of Interactive Personal Terminals (IPTs), allowing people to place a bet without ever leaving their seat. A bar next door to the book offers cocktails and video poker machines.
