The Book -- Bally's Race and Sports Book Review
A joy to watch any sports event in, Bally's race and sports book is designed with a modern, streamlined look. With stadium seating, painted sky ceiling and a surrounding mural of horse races, it will have you thinking you are actually at the sporting event instead of sitting inside of a casino. With plenty of giant scoreboards and 11 big-screens sitting high, you won't miss a minute of the action, or you can enjoy the individual screens located throughout the book and the adjacent lounge.
With an inviting atmosphere that is tucked away beneath the main casino floor, the book is located near the Bally Avenue Shoppes mall and is surrounded by a variety of food options, like Sbarro, Johnny's Delicatessen and sushi from Ichiban.
Once patrons find the book, they’re in for a great experience. For starters, Bally’s offers a myriad of betting options for horse and sports players – including daily lines (straight bets, money lines and totals), parlays, futures, propositions on major events and some other events, pari-mutuel and nonpari-mutuel racing, weekly odds for golf, NASCAR and tennis and major boxing matches and even some head-to-head boxing and horse racing matchups.
The book offers great viewing areas, which include 210 individual televisions and 11 big-screens, each 8 feet by 6 feet. In all, there are 285 seats in the book and lounge.
Players who use their Total Rewards card can qualify for comps and VIP treatment, depending on their level of play. Premium service, such as special seating and special betting widows, is based on what level the player reaches.
Bally’s also offers a promotion to combine the booming popularity of poker, specifically no-limit Texas hold ’em, with Monday Night Football. The tournament has been drawing 30 players a week consistently, and the buy-in is $100.
