Otto, Vegas Expert
Originally from: Cleveland, Ohio.
Years in Vegas: 18.
Clubs visited: Too many clubs to actually name them and in some (OK, most) cases actually remember that I was there.
Number of clubs visited in one night: Two or three.
Bars visited: Too many to even count – even if I could use my fingers and toes to help.
Hotels visited: I can actually say I have been to every hotel [here].
Upscale restaurants visited: Four or five, which given my appetite to consume good food, is a bit surprising.
Q and A with Otto
Why/when did you move here?
I moved to Vegas in 1991 when I left the U.S. Air Force after living for five plus years in San Antonio, Texas. I flipped
a coin and ended up in Las Vegas (best two of three).
When did you start at VEGAS.com, and what does your job entail?
I started at VEGAS.com in October 2001. I was hired originally as an ad trafficking manager and was promoted to a Client Development
Manager focusing on the tour and golf industries. Later I was tapped to head up the Casino Travel and Tours tour and transportation
operation.
What is your favorite thing about working at VEGAS.com?
The people. The teamwork. The "can do" atmosphere and work ethic.
What are your hobbies?
I try and take advantage of the numerous outdoor activities in the surrounding area – hiking, swimming, boating, golfing.
If drinking is considered a hobby – I am pretty good at consuming adult beverages from time to time.
Give us a random fact about yourself
I have a propensity to state the obvious as if it were new. For example – I will be the one that looks out the window during
a rainstorm and alerts those that are within earshot that it might be raining outside.
