Nikki, Dining Expert
Originally from: New York.
Years in Vegas: Three.
Clubs visited: Over 20. I'd give you an exact count, but they all run together – loud music, lots of people, guy in the corner doing the John Travolta circa "Saturday Night Fever."
Number of clubs visited in one night: Three.
Bars visited: I try to test every bar stool in Vegas. It's a tough job, especially when you order a drink at each, but if it'll help you...
Hotels visited: I'm proud to say I've been to every hotel and casino in Vegas at least once.
Upscale restaurants visited: Ha ha, very funny. I'm the dining guide gal, remember?
Q and A with Nikki
Why/when did you move here?
Fine dining, the best shopping, shows and world-class hotels all within a 10-minute drive, who could ask for anything more?
When did you start at VEGAS.com, and what does your job entail?
I started in January 2008. I'm a Content Developer. I maintain the dining section which means I basically get to eat dinner
for a living and then write about it afterwards. I also update the golf and recreation pages.
What is your favorite thing about working at VEGAS.com?
Everything! I LOVE my job. Perhaps my favorite thing was the 6-foot chocolate fountain that miraculously appeared in the Contact
Center for our staff meeting.
What are your hobbies?
Piano, violin, cooking, dining, hiking, boating, shopping, skiing, going to concerts and shows, measuring the height of floral
displays inside hotel lobbies – you know, the usual.
Give us a random fact about yourself
I lived here for about two years before and liked Vegas so much, I decided to move back! More random? I was at Nicky Hilton's
wedding reception a few years back over at Little Buddha at the Palms. The all-star guest list proceeded to sit down at the
table next to me and my friends. Just another day-in-the-life here in Las Vegas.
