Q and A with Jenna

Why/when did you move here?
After turning 21, I knew there was nowhere else in the world I wanted to be. L.A. is great, but there's nothing like Vegas. When I moved here three years ago, it was on a whim and I will never regret my decision. I have the greatest job and you can honestly call me a "perma-vacationer." I went on vacation and never came back.

When did you start at VEGAS.com, and what does your job entail?
I started in February of 2007, and I work as a "Travel Specialist" in the Contact Center. You can definitely call me a Vegas Expert, all my friends did before I even started working for VEGAS.com. My job here is to assist those that want to come to Vegas. We sell the majority of everything that has to do with Vegas. We're your one-stop travel shop. I help sell shows, hotels, club passes, tours and golf.

What is your favorite thing about working at VEGAS.com?
I would definitely say the people I get to work with. We're not just another company, we're a family. The benefits for working here aren't so bad either!

What are your hobbies?
I'm definitely more of a creative person. Before working for VEGAS.com, I was doing special effects make-up and working in the entertainment industry. I would definitely say I'm really into movies, especially horror flicks. I love music and singing as well.

Give us a random fact about yourself
Sometimes I think I'm a little "too perky." I love to make people laugh. Whether you're laughing at me or with me, I guarantee to make you at least smirk.

Give us your top insider tips about Vegas

  • Pre-party in your room before hitting the club.

  • If you tip the reservation clerk at the hotel when you check in, they may upgrade your room. This is at their discretion.

  • When walking on the Las Vegas Strip, make sure to keep an eye your personal belongings.
