Q and A with Caroline
Why/when did you move here?
When I was 8 because my family moved here.
When did you start at VEGAS.com, and what does your job entail?
I started here January of 2008 as a content developer. My job entails countless nights of seeing shows before I update the
site with fresh reviews. I also work on writing stories for the Lights.Vegas.Action section that runs every Thursday in the
L.A. Times. I get to see incredible shows and meet interesting people almost everyday. Apart from that, I update the site with any and
all events that happen in Vegas. What happens in Vegas, comes across my desk first.
What is your favorite thing about working at VEGAS.com?
I love being able to write and having the first insight on all the goings-on in Vegas. The people I work with are great, and
working in a city that never sleeps means there's always something new and exciting happening.
What are your hobbies?
When I'm not busy playing bocce ball, I like singing, dancing, painting, cooking and hiking with my dogs. There are some really
beautiful hiking areas around Las Vegas that offer a nice break from the city. In the summer I spend all my time surrounded
by water.
Give us a random fact about yourself

Give us your top insider tips about Vegas
- Ellis Island has an awesome BBQ dinner for under $10 and really cheap drinks.
- There is a pretty sweet hike up Frenchman Mountain if you head all the way east on Spring Mountain Road, where you have can
get a view of the entire city and beyond.
- Fremont Street Experience is a great place to go for cheap drinks, free live entertainment and people watching. They have both big name and tribute bands that play right on the street, and most of the entertainment is free.
