The Sling Shot at Circus Circus Review

A lot can happen in a few seconds. Riding the Sling Shot proves that these few seconds are life-changing.

This ride inside the Adventuredome may be a short one, but trust us when we say each second goes a long way. The Sling Shot gives you an idea of what its feels like to shoot off in a rocket into outer space. The car features 12 seats in a circle. You might have to jump onto your seat since it's set high.

After you're strapped in (with your feet hanging loose), you'll sit in suspense for a few seconds. Right when you least expect it, the car shoots up a 100-foot tower at a shocking force of 4 Gs. Even if you prep yourself and know that the launch is coming, you're still in for the surprise of your life.

Once you're up high, the car pauses then shoots back down for the ultimate free fall. Talk about a crazy head rush!

After climbing out of the car, you'll scratch your head wondering how all that happened in such a short amount of time. You're more than welcome to test it out again -- if you dare.
