KISS: By Monster Mini Golf

What's more rock 'n' roll than mini golf? Well, a lot of things, unless the course is themed by one of the most iconic rock bands of all time, KISS. Then your rocker status is a hole in one.

Located on 4501 Paradise Road, KISS: by Monster Mini Golf offers 18 holes of glow-in-the-dark decadence inspired by all the black-and-white-painted faces you can handle. Pucker up, you're about to be surrounded by KISS.

Christina Vitagliano founded Monster Mini Golf in 2004 when she wanted to create an enjoyable yet affordable amusement facility.  Her inspiration expanded to more than 30 themed miniature golf courses across the country. Her vision caught the attention of Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley and KISS: By Monster Mini Golf was born. 

With black lights hanging from the ceiling, the mini golf course is defined by glowing orange dividers that look like a maze of short of flames. Brightly painted wall murals of KISS and Vegas-themed characters and scenes surround the course. If you've ever wanted to see a painting of the Rat Pack as cartoon KISS fans, this is your chance. The funky wall art has a psychedelic vibe that looks like a scene out of "What's New, Scooby-Doo?" KISS was featured in an episode of the cartoon series in 1978. The course's '70s-style slant creates a fun setting for players of all ages. It also coincides with when the group first rose to prominence.

Other effects in the course include laser lights and exaggerated pieces representative of the band like a platform boot tall enough to graze the ceiling, two larger-than-life guitars and what looks like jack-in-the-boxes but the heads are portrayals of members from the band. In the back corner players can rock out with an Animatronic KISS band. The course wouldn't be KISS without Gene Simmons' legendary tongue immortalized somewhere, and this attraction doesn't disappoint. For the final hole players get to shoot their ball down Simmons' outstretched pink tongue and into his mouth. It's a tricky hole, and you can thank the designers for all the tongue in cheek comments you're bound to utter while playing.

Along with the mini-golf course, the facility has arcade games, rooms for special events, a KISS gift shop, the "Rock 'n' Roll All Night" Café and the "Hotter Than Hell" wedding chapel. It's the first wedding chapel of its kind. We're interested to know what it means when the preacher says, "You man now KISS the bride."
