If you want to take a break from Las Vegas Strip (and don't mind driving about 20 minutes away), then get your gear together and gather some friends for a combat paint ball war.
For those ready to do something extreme that will get your adrenaline pumping, then this is for you. We all played tag as a kid, and this is taking the game of tag to the fullest. Whether you play individually or as a team, you'll compete to eliminate your opponent by using air-propelled paint guns to target your enemies. It's game over once the paint ball breaks on you -- but you can always seek your revenge for the next game.
Newbies often ask if getting hit with a paint ball actually hurts. The ball's impact is more startling than anything else (think of a rubber band sting). In addition, players aren't supposed to shoot closer than 10 feet. And since there is no experience necessary, you'll be given special attention so you won't be gunned down by more advanced players.
Field options include one air ball field for tournament style play, two scenario fields and one target range. And just like real combat, the paint ball wars operate rain or shine.
Make sure to wear loose-fitting, lightweight clothing and sturdy footwear. Keep in mind that you'll be running through terrain and crawling on dirt. Guests can also purchase additional protective gear, all available at the property.
Combat Zone Paintball is located near M Resort, approximately 10 miles south of the Las Vegas Strip. If you're driving from the Strip, take I-15 South to 215 East. Exit Pecos and turn right. Pecos will turn into St. Rose Parkway. Turn right on Las Vegas Boulevard. The location will be on your right. Or, you can drive south on Las Vegas Boulevard (past Mandalay Bay hotel and Welcome to Las Vegas sign) and the location will be on your left.
