Obama Stars with 42% of Votes

(LAS VEGAS, Oct. 21, 2008) -- As the election countdown begins, the VEGAS.com polls are heating up. It appears Obama and McCain have new competition in Nevada's swing state. Surprise candidates have dropped in to "swing the vote."

Welcome to VEGAS.com's Poll Peep Show:
Obama cuts to the front of the polls, leading with 42% of votes. McCain appears to have a bit of "velvet rope rejection," as he follows with 38% in his favor. In the spirit of political satire, two of Comedy Central's finest managed to sneak onto our ballot by popular demand. Colbert is getting the last laugh with 11% of votes, topping Stewart who got 2% of votes. Barr's odds are not looking good either, with only 2% voting on his behalf. However, it's Nader that appears to be this election's party pooper, with only 1% of voters offering him support. In true Vegas style, 4% just want to party and opted for none of the above (just like on Nevada's ballot).
