HSMAI Recognizes Vegas.com with Hospitality Award
(LAS VEGAS, Jan. 27, 2009) -- The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) last evening awarded VEGAS.com with a Bronze Award for its winning advertising campaign entry in the 2008 Adrian Awards Competition.
HSMAI paid tribute to VEGAS.com during the HSMAI Adrian Awards Gala, a black-tie dinner held on Jan. 26, at the New York Marriott Marquis and attended by more than 700 travel, hospitality and marketing executives.
In "The Vegas Experts," actors playing VEGAS.com employees take center stage as they go about a regular day on the job, needing to know the ins and outs of everything in the city for Vegas visitors. They take their jobs very seriously even though they're in the middle of the hottest parties, backstage at the best shows and working with celebrities, clubs, hotels and more -- collecting information for the VEGAS.com customer who depends on them.
VEGAS.com worked with Vegas-based Stella Productions to produce the TV campaign, directed by Bob Rice of Wild Plum and led by Executive Creative Director Philip Nobert and Creative Director Doug Hentges.

The honors were awarded as part of the 2008 HSMAI Adrian Awards Competition, the largest and most prestigious travel event of its kind in the world.
