VEGAS.com Unveils Winner of "Vegas Experts Exposed" Contest and Names Marie Osmond as Vegas' Favorite Expert

(LAS VEGAS, Nov. 20, 2009) -- Over the past several weeks, 30 of VEGAS.com's most famous "employees" -- such as Penn & Teller, Carrot Top, Lance Burton, Marie Osmond, Terry Fator, Chippendales and more -- have competed for the public's attention in the "Vegas Experts Exposed" online video contest and Vegas trip sweepstakes. After a thrilling public vote with tens of thousands of entrants, the wait is over. VEGAS.com officially congratulates Charles (Chuck) Mowery from Bedford, Ohio on winning the Vegas trip and Marie Osmond for receiving the most votes and earning the title of favorite Vegas Expert.

"This contest was a really fun way to illustrate our close relationships with Strip headliners, who come in each week to interact with the staff here at VEGAS.com," said Howard Lefkowitz, President of VEGAS.com. "Now Chuck gets a chance to live like our Vegas Experts by having a VIP vacation experience in Vegas with the chance to meet Marie Osmond."

On his trip, Mowery and his wife will enjoy:

For those who want more "Vegas Experts Exposed," VEGAS.com will be documenting Mowery's visit with a series of short online videos. In addition, VEGAS.com will use portions of the top videos as the basis of its upcoming TV ad campaign.

Each video clip depicts a humorous look at familiar Vegas headliners assisting (or participating) in a myriad of job functions, ranging from employee training, accounting, customer service, human resources, web design, marketing, content creation, programming and more. The "Vegas Experts Exposed" campaign was shot on-location in the Southern Nevada offices of VEGAS.com, the world's largest city travel website, and captured un-scripted interactions between Vegas celebrities and VEGAS.com employees.
