Final Week to Vote for Your Favorite VEGAS.com "Vegas Experts Exposed" Video

Voters are encouraged to support four finalists for entry to win a free trip to Vegas

(LAS VEGAS, Nov. 4, 2009) -- Over the past four weeks, 30 of VEGAS.com's most famous "employees" -- such as Marie Osmond, Penn & Teller, Carrot Top, Lance Burton, Terry Fator, Chippendales and more -- have competed for the public's attention in the "Vegas Experts Exposed" online video contest. Now is the last chance for viewers to vote on the top four videos, and enter for a chance to win a trip to Vegas. Voting -- and the chance for sweepstakes participation -- ends on Monday, Nov. 9 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

Each video clip depicts a humorous look at familiar Vegas headliners assisting (or participating) in a myriad of job functions, ranging from employee training, accounting, customer service, human resources, web design, marketing, content creation, programming and more. The Vegas Experts Exposed campaign was shot on-location in the Southern Nevada offices of VEGAS.com, the world's largest city travel website, and captured un-scripted interactions between Vegas celebrities and VEGAS.com employees.

"This isn't just a stunt; our offices are just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, and celebrities come in each week to interact with the staff of VEGAS.com," said Howard Lefkowitz, President of VEGAS.com. "Now we are giving the public a chance to hang out with these celebrities in Vegas, like we do every day."

After several weeks and tens of thousands of votes at www.vegas.com/exposed, the public has selected its top four videos (Cirque du Soleil "O," American Storm, Marie Osmond, and Blue Man Group), which will be used as the basis of the website's upcoming TV ad campaign. Voting will continue through Nov. 9 and once complete, viewers will be entered into a sweepstakes where the winner and a guest will be whisked away for an expertly-planned weekend with VEGAS.com staff and the winning celebrity "employee." The trip includes:

  • Round-trip airfare
  • 4 days and 3 nights' accommodations in the Penthouse Suite at Mirage, provided by the Mirage
  • $1,000 shopping spree at your choice of Fashion Show Mall, Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian or The Shoppes at the Palazzo provided by General Growth Properties
  • 2 tickets to see the winning "Employee's" show, followed by a meet and greet with the "Employee" and a night on the town with some of the Vegas experts from VEGAS.com
  • Limo transportation from and to McCarran International Airport provided by Mirage
  • $100 dining credit and $100 spa credit at Mirage

All 30 video clips are available to view on VEGAS.com and through the company's established social media pages on Facebook (www.facebook.com/vegas), Twitter (www.twitter.com/vegascom), and YouTube (www.youtube.com/vegas), but this week's voting is only enabled on the top four videos.
