Our Project Management Organization is seeking an Alternate Project Manager that will be responsible for the management and operations of the Hoover Dam staff members. They will ensure courteous and effective customer service is provided to all guests in the absence of the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensures the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards.
- Implements and reviews company policies and procedures as needed.
- Supervises staff, sets goals, and oversees training programs as needed.
- Provide guidance to staff on complex issues.
- Ensures staff provides professional and quality service to all visitors.
- Watch for any issues with systems and report them to the appropriate person.
- Participates in product and service promotions and works to promote these specials in discussions with clients.
- Develops a working knowledge of products and services.
- Monitor the work of the supervised employees to identify issues and to provide positive feedback, constructive criticism and additional training as needed.
- Monitor team performance and employee productivity.
- Identify and impart regular coaching and mentoring in conjunction with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager.
- Invokes necessary escalation for problems requiring COR or Management assistance.
- Creates merchandise orders from COR and organizes the merchandise display arrangement as directed.
- Handles first level discipline as needed.
- Administers refunds for guests based on guidelines provided by Project Manager.
- Coordinates with emergency responders for the benefit of all employees as directed.
- Participates in seminars/meetings provided by the Company.
- Communicates professionally and diplomatically with co-workers and the public giving and receiving instruction.
The ideal candidate has the following qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 2 years of previous supervisory experience in a heavy sales environment.
